| Üffdah is an exclamation of Norwegian origin that is relatively common in the Upper Midwestern United States. It is often used there as a term for sensory overload or as an expression of surprise, astonishment, and relief, among other things. Üffdah can also be spelled uff-da, uffda, uff-dah, oofda, ufda, oofta or ufta. |

| What's the deal with the umlaut? |
| Although the typical spellings of üffdah do not utilize an umlaut above the "u", we decided to incorporate it in our name. Why? Well... why not? We like the way it looks. Consider it company flare. |
